Miniature Air Launched Decoy (MALD)

MALD is a high fidelity decoy target with an extended range capable of
jamming/spoofing enemy air defense systems.   
Raytheon is the Prime Contractor.

MALD is launched from an F-16 or a B-52.

ASEI's responsibilities are:

• Operational Flight Software (OFS) design, generation, test
• Support OFS Verification/Validation
• Support integration & operation of the hardware-in-the-loop facility (HWIL)
• Designed and validated the B-52 aircraft interface simulator
• Provide Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), Field Test Equipment, & MALD Trainers
